Friday: Had a wicked day in Durban sight seeing and buying pressies for back home!! and yes dad found you a good present for once!! Took lots of pictures down by the beach and the weather was lovely. the people on the beach made massive art with the sand there are some pics that i have of some of them. Very amazing... was a lovely day and saw all the little stalls where they sold handmade gifts etc. Was a really fun day. Then helped at Isiaiah 54 in the evening with the children.
We have been painting the wall outside Isiaiah 54 during the week and its coming along nicely. ended up with red paint all over me but it was fun doing it!!
Saturday: Officially one of the best days so far!! went on a boat trip to watch for whales and dolphins. it was so lovely went out really far. Well only 30 or so nows now untill I go. Im rather excited and I just cannot wait to go. The flights slightly long 20 odd hours with 3 stops. But I dont mind flying. As some of you may know I am taking part in Isiaiah 54 on 21st July till 13th September this year in Durban..
I somehow cant imagine what it is going to be like out there, I have heard good things and bad things about it there but however it still doesn't rule out my excitement. I will taking part in the project with 2 others who are from Holland by the looks of it.
Aswell as leaving my lovely boyfriend and my family behind, I believe this is going to a one life changing opportunity, that I just do not want to miss and I just want to go out and help other people.
Well the next time I write on here will most likely be when I get there as soon as I can get to the Internet.
Will keep all posted.....
